Demo Scholarship Program Deadline to apply: September 1, 2020 12:00 am CT Demo Sponsor has established a scholarship program to assist children of employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin. Eligibility Awards Required Documents Applicants must meet all of the following criteria Be an eligible* Demo Sponsor unit associate Be high school graduates or current postsecondary undergraduate or graduate level students Plan to enroll in full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the upcoming spring semester Applicants will be evaluated on academic information leadership and participation in school and community activities work experience Financial need will be considered Special consideration will be given to applicants who are identified as first generation students Award Amounts If selected as a recipient, the student will receive an award of a designated amount. Awards are not renewable, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements. Awards are for undergraduate and graduate study Selection of recipients Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of self-declared academic information, leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, and family financial information Notification Applicants will be notified in December Payment of Scholarships Scholarship America processes scholarship payments on behalf of Demo Company. Payments are made in one installment in early 2019. As part of your application, you must upload the following document(s): A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Unofficial or online transcripts must display student name, school name, grade and credit hours, and term in which the course was taken.
